Vote to Fix: Click the vote link at the top of the pop up box or the “vote to fix” box shown in the issue list, and then enter your email address.

Add a comment and share an issue: Click on the share link at the top of the pop up box.  Here you can share the issue with your friends via email, Facebook or Twitter.

Privacy: You can be anonymous on SeeClickFix when reporting or commenting on an issue.  A valid email address is required when voting on an issue to get fixed.  Your email address will never be shared with others.

Where the Report Goes: When as issue is reported via web or by smartphone the City Manager’s office is alerted by email so that a response can be accurately and efficiently coordinated with City of Raleigh Department staff and tracked to ensure satisfactory resolution.

History/Background: SeeClickFix is a web and smart phone application to report non-emergency problems to civic authorities.  Bonner Gaylord (City Counselor for District E) launched SeeClickFix in Raleigh in June 2010 to allow city government to be more responsive to the people and to provide “eyes on the street” to identify issues as a service to the city.

Examples of reported problems

  • Maintenance issues: graffiti, potholes, street lights out, overgrown shrubbery, etc..
  • Request public utilities: new stop signs, street lights, cross walks, etc..
